Terms and Conditions


Shipping is calculated on size/weight of the order and the remoteness of the recipient’s location. Shipping costs will be displayed at the checkout before purchase is confirmed. The delivery of larger items will be advised by a web sales consultant after we receive your order.

If you wish to discuss shipping please contact The Music Spot on 07 3800 5229 or email us for a delivery quote. We do not accept overseas orders for security reasons.

An insurance levy of 1.5% is charged on all orders. This levy covers all goods from loss or damage in transit from dispatch to the advised shipping address.

Larger items will always be sent by courier and someone must be present at the designated shipping address during normal business hours  (Mon – Frid 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) to sign for deliveries. Extra charges may be incurred for repeated delivery attempts. Please note that orders cannot be delivered to a Post Office Box number and an actual street address is required for delivery.



All prices displayed on The Music Spot website are GST inclusive. The invoice provided via email identifies how much GST is paid.

We accept the following payment methods:

    * Credit cards through our secure ecommerce Gateway (PayPal).

    * Direct credit card payments for purchases up to $200.

 It is the policy of The Music Spot Pty Ltd that the only finance method available for online purchases is Axcess. Please contact the store for further information.


Whilst every effort is made to ensure accuracy of stock availability, in some instances items listed on our website may be temporarily out of stock depending on demand. If this occurs, one of our friendly web sales team will contact you within 24 hours of your order (Monday-Friday 9 – 5p.m.) to discuss options and alternatives.

Please note that certain products may need to be ordered from suppliers and delays may occur depending upon availability from suppliers. This may, on occasions include products that are currently ranged as part of our advertised product.

Every effort will be made to source the product on behalf of our customers in a timely fashion and when it is not immediately available instore, we will contact you and provide you with an estimated delivery time. The Music Spot recommends that you contact our web sales team either by email or on 07 3800 5229 before placing your order to ensure that you clearly understand the likely delivery time for your order. Again, please note that we are reliant on suppliers and freight companies and we cannot guarantee delivery times even where we have provided an estimate.

Please note that certain products may not be available where existing stock is exhausted and suppliers are unable to meet orders from The Music Spot. Where this is the case and you have already placed an order we will notify you as soon as possible after we become aware of the non-availability and will either discuss an alternative for you or refund your purchase price in full.


Returns & Replacements

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchases please contact us for a refund/exchange of the product price, excluding freight and insurance costs, within ten days from the original shipping date. This does not include non-stocked items.

Refund/exchange is only given under the following circumstances:

    * Faulty
    * Significantly different to those shown or described to you; or
    * Not doing what they’re supposed to do.

When you buy you should choose carefully. You do not automatically get a refund for simply changing your mind.

A refund will not be given for the following reasons:

    * No proof of purchase is offered;
    * The customer simply changes his mind;
    * The customer bought them for someone else who doesn’t want them;
    * The goods have been damaged after the purchase; or
    * The customer was made aware of a fault before they purchased the goods.

All returned goods must be in original condition (as sold), include a Return Authorisation from The Music Spot, be in the original packaging complete with the warranty card and owner’s manual, and show No signs of wear and abuse.

Please ensure you keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

Prices, product descriptions and availability can change constantly and The Music Spot does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of information on this website and will not be responsible for any typographical errors or errors in illustrations, pictures or descriptions. Pictures of products are for illustration only and actual product may differ from the picture shown.

The product specifications (weight, size, colour etc) mentioned with the product are approximate and there may be a slight variation between the real product and the product displayed.

In order to provide our customers with the most current information The Music Spot will, from time to time, make changes to the content and the products or services described on this site. The prices advertised on this site are for "Internet orders" only. Prices and availability of items are subject to change without notice. The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) / List Price is the price recommended by The Music Spot’s suppliers (as most recently communicated to us by suppliers). The Music Spot often sells products at less than the RRP.
